Situated on the outskirts of Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire, 8 miles from Scotch Corner and only a few minutes from junction 52 of the A1(M), the course dates back to 1930.
The putting green is located next to the clubhouse and is akin to the actual greens on the course with its subtle slopes and curving lines.
The main practice area is suitable for irons and shorter woods up to 200 yards with 6 covered bays playing off mats or uncovered areas playing off grass.
The chipping practice ground is suitable for wedges up to a distance of 150 yards with a green to aim at along with a ditch and bunker to be to be avoided.
The practice net is between the professional's shop and the first tee and is a useful stop before starting your game.
The short chipping area is located outside the Professional's shop and is a great opportunity to practice your short chipping (<20 yards) before commencing your round.
